Ok, you made your resolution/goal, mapped it out into weekly achievable steps to attain it. Good for you! Now what?
Use these 3 steps to help you stay motivated and moving forward towards reaching your goal.
Step 1: When you are feeling unmotivated, visualize your goal. Close your eyes and feel what it will be like when you attain that goal.
Step 2: Reach out to the person you picked to help you stay accountable. Talk with them about what you are feeling and struggling with. They can help you remember why you set this goal and help you get excited about reaching it.
Step 3: When the first 2 steps aren’t working, re-examine your weekly steps and ask yourself, can I realistically do this and if the answer is no, break the steps into smaller steps that are a stretch, but not too much of a stretch that you can’t do it.
The whole point of setting the goal and breaking it down into attainable steps, is to ensure your success. You can do this!
